⛄️ December 2023 update
Upcoming gigs and an album recommendation
Hello everyone! As we reach the end of the year, I’m playing at a couple new places that it would be fun to see folks at: an outdoor lunchtime gig in downtown San Francisco (Landing at Leidesdorff) and a delicious Creole restaurant in the Excelsior (Gentilly). With any luck, I’ll be playing at those venues regularly in 2024 as well!
Also, my first album, Nirav Sanghani and the Pacific Six, is now featured in the San Francisco Public Library’s Bay Beats program, so SFPL members can stream it along with dozens of other local artists’ music on the Bay Beats website.

💿 Music
This month’s recommendation contains a rare treat: original holiday music! Durham-based reeds player Keenan McKenzie’s A Bull City Holiday has eleven new tracks composed by Keenan plus a joyful arrangement of “Auld Lang Syne”. If you’re like me and enjoy Christmas music but don’t want to annoy everyone around you with repeats of the same dozen tunes, this might be for you!
