🎃 October 2023 update

Upcoming gigs and an album recommendation

Happy autumn, everyone! Updated COVID vaccines for the fall are now available and covered by either insurance or the CDC’s Bridge Access Program. Ask your doctor’s office or use vaccines.gov to find a location near you, and make sure the location you’re going to is covered by your insurance; for example, Kaiser patients will need to go to a Kaiser location. If you’re able to, get the COVID and flu vaccines so we can all safely enjoy live music together this winter!

💿 Music

Today’s album recommendation is The LookBack Transmission, by Aurora Nealand & the Royal Roses. Aurora is one of my favorite musicians in New Orleans, and I strongly recommend catching her live if you’re there. This album has a number of tracks that I fondly return to, including “Ferry Man”, “His Eye is On the Sparrow”, and “Miss the Mississippi & You”.
