💿 Music

Today I have an album recommendation for you: Someone To Dance With by Albanie Falletta, a stellar guitarist based in New York City. She plays guitar and sings on this album, backed by a great lineup of musicians (including one of my favorite reeds players, Jonathan Doyle). The sound is unique, acoustic, and allowed to breathe. One of my favorite tracks is “When Your Lover Has Gone”, a tune with an unusual chord progression, the kind that comes alive only when everyone playing it understands its musical arc, as they do here.
